The area, as you would expect, boasts some excellent restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Try Marmite, or The Beau Rivage at Mansle where you can sit out on the terrace overlooking the Charente, Cheval Blanc at Luxé for that extra special occasion (10 minutes) or Le Compostelle at Tusson (20 minutes) where they serve simply stunning food.

Or simply stay at the Gite and BBQ some mouth-watering sardines and watch the sun come down over the sunflower fields. It just doesn't get much better than that.
