Le Coucher du Soleil offers unique and tasteful accommodation for two, combining rustic French charm with modern building methods.

Situated in the far left hand corner of the grounds, the Gite looks out from its own private garden onto lawns and woodland beyond.

The ground floor features an original oak beamed ceiling, spacious lounge/diner and kitchen.

An open-tread staircase leads to a large, heavily beamed bedroom - there you will find a king-size bed with ensuite shower room (there is a hair dryer too) the theme is French with a taste of the Orient.

The Gite is fully equipped with a wood burner and electric wall mounted heaters, English TV/Video/ DVD and CD player. Wi -Fi is available, but due to the thickness of the walls of the Gite you will have to "log on" in the garden or you are welcome to use our office laptop.

There is an extensive library of books, DVDs, videos, CDs and board games too.

The kitchen has a microwave, cooker, fridge and washing machine plus all the kitchen equipment you would expect. Outside you'll find a patio table and chairs, barbeque and sun loungers. There are also ladies and gents bikes available and table tennis.

An 8 x 4m heated swimming pool with Roman steps and security fence is situated near to the main house. You are welcome to use this at any time although we put a solar cover on at night time to retain the heat.

The swimming pool is open from April to the end of September.
